Some types of ship engines require large bearings with heavy load capacities that are highly reliable and durable. We are one of few manufacturers in the world that produce extra-large bearings for low-speed, 2-stroke diesel engines with a range of diameters exceeding 1,000 mm. Generally these engines are used in power plants and as the main source of power in tankers and cargo ships. Our aluminum or Babbitt alloy bearings, some of which are plated, are widely used in these engines. Our resin-coated bearings are used in certain products to prevent scuffing in dry turning applications.
