Daido Metal Co., Ltd. has signed the UN Global Compact (UNGC) proposed by the United Nations and has been formally registered as a participating company since July 2025. Furthermore, we have joined the Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ), comprising Japanese companies and organisations who have signed the UNGC.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate initiative which calls for companies to support and implement Ten Principles in the four areas of ‘Human Rights’, ‘Labour’, ‘Environment’ and ‘Anti-Corruption’ in order to achieve sustainable growth and fulfil their social responsibility.
Daido Metal has been working on initiatives for sustainability such as protection of the environment, respect for human rights etc. as an important management issue. Signing the UNGC is an opportunity that will further strengthen our sustainability initiatives and lead to responsible corporate activities as a member of the international community.
We will continue to contribute to the achievement of a sustainable society, based on the principles of the UN Global Compact.
